     A University of Connecticut plant biology class discovered several fragments of invasive hydrilla in Coventry Lake in Coventry, Connecticut. 

     William Hyatt, Department of Energy and Environmental Protection's chief of natural resources, called the discovery "troubling," especially since Coventry Lake is often used for recreational purposes.
