Lake Snapshot Day Sept. 13

     Wisconsin’s Lake Winnebago Quality Improvement Association, working with the River Alliance and local aquatic invasive species coordinators, will participate in the statewide effort to gather data about invasive plants. Volunteers will receive training to help them in surveying water bodies and identifying invasives, and then be sent to more than 70 sites selected for monitoring. "This should be a lot of fun — training new volunteers and visiting a lot of different sites," said Pat Miller, AIS coordinator in Fond du Lac County.
